The Black Box At Westport's Academy of Dance

Westport's Academy of Dance has been teaching children and teens in a safe and nurturing environment for 45 years. Offering classical ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern and hip hop dance to all ages and levels.

1,450SF performance Black Box space has been designed around our Master Class and Student Performance offerings throughout each Season.

Showcases feature Academy students as well various talent from the broader dance and performing arts community. These ongoing additions to core program offerings are curated to provide various learning and performance opportunities - exposing students to a comprehensive range of supplementary dance choreography, performance and production principles.
